Following a strong start to the year, Sydney's property market has become more selective. Auction clearance rates have eased, buyers are taking more time to make decisions, and negotiation has become more common. While market activity has moderated, Sydney's underlying housing fundamentals remain supportive. Limited housing supply, population growth, and continued demand for quality accommodation are expected to underpin the market over the longer term. Many analysts believe the current slowdown represents a period of adjustment rather than a significant downturn.
-Rental Market Remains Resilient
Rental demand remains strong across much of Sydney, supported by low vacancy rates and ongoing population growth. Well-maintained properties continue to attract quality tenants, providing stable returns for landlords despite softer conditions in the sales market.
