Sales activity in Perth during the week ending 8 March was down 3.7% with 827 transactions recorded. On closer inspection, house and unit sales recorded falls of 9.9% and 5.8% respectively. However, vacant land sales increased by 78.4%.

REIWA members reported 1,936 properties for rent at the end of last week, which is 3% up on the previous week, 3.5% lower than 4 weeks ago and 7.2% lower than the same time last year. Leasing activity declined 13.3% with REIWA members reporting 576 properties leased. This week's number of properties leased is 24.2% lower than 4 weeks ago but 5.9% higher than a year ago.
