Dear Landlords,
It’s hard to believe we have already in the second month of 2023. As we look at the year ahead, one of the exciting things to look forward to are the epic movies which will be released throughout the year.
For the kids
The Little Mermaid will come to the big screen as a live-action movie that is sure to capture the hearts of little girls across the world. Along the same vein, Barbie will be bought to life by Margot Robbie but the plot remains a mystery until its release in July.
For blockbuster lovers
Babylon (in cinemas now) is packed with A-list Hollywood stars and director. It is a period movie showing Hollywood’s transition from silent movies to sound. Aussie Cate Blanchett plays a famous composer in Tàr at the height of her career which is already receiving Oscar buzz.
For action-lovers
Action movie lovers will get to enjoy the latest additions to the Mission Impossible and Creed franchises. You can expect more death-defying stunts from Tom Cruise and his crew.
For superhero fans
Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania is the first of many Marvel releases in 2023. Another movie released in this genre is Shazam! Fury of the Gods which is based on the DC comic Shazam where the group of superheros are forced to transform themselves to fight the daughters of Atlas from using weapons that could destroy the world. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 and Spider-man: Across the Spider-verse would round out the superhero releases in 2023
