The $10 billion James Webb telescope sent back some spectacular coloured images of our universe. These images are the most detailed view of the universe to date and has taken many billion of years to reach us.
The quality of the images shows the deepest cosmic viewing for scientists. This telescope could show pictures of the very first stars to shine in the universe and spot far-off planets to see if they might be habitable.
These images are exciting because it reminds us that humankind is capable and can achieve great things. I’m sure there will be more incredible images and news to come.
